Airtel is providing exclusive benefits as part of the Airtel Thanks platform, which enables access to premium content from Airtel Xstream of about 10,000 movies, exclusive shows, and 400 TV channels, Wynk Music, device protection, anti-virus protection and much more. On 6th December, Airtel has launched three new tariff plans that offer unlimited calling on any network across India.
What are the recharge plans for Airtel?
Telecom major Bharti Airtel has announced that it will hike prices of all its prepaid plans by up to 47% from tomorrow. Among its leading prepaid packs, the ₹19 recharge voucher is the only one which is left unchanged. Other than the ₹19 plan, Airtel has revised all its recharge plans including the ones with 28 days (one month) and 84 days (3 month) validity.

₹148 plan:

With a validity period of 28 days, the ₹148 plan was earlier priced at ₹129. It comes with unlimited calling, 300 SMS per day and 2 GB data. Users also get access to Airtel XStream, Wynk and Hello Tunes as part of Airtel Thanks benefits.

The new plan results in a price increase of ₹19.

₹248 plan:

With effect from tomorrow, Airtel has merged the two recharge plans of ₹169 and ₹199 to ₹248.

The new ₹248 plan gives you unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and 1.5 GB of data every day. Besides this, you also get access to Airtel XStream Premium content, Wynk Music subscription, free Hello Tunes and anti-virus mobile protection.

₹298 plan:

Airtel is offering unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and 2GB data everyday in this plan, which was earlier being sold for ₹249. In the 28-day validity period range, this is the costliest plan.

The new revised plan results in an increase of 1.75 per day.

Airtel's 84 days 4G plan:

In the 84 days validity period category, Airtel has two plans -- ₹598 and ₹698.

The ₹598 plan comes with 1.5 GB data per day while the ₹698 plan offers 2 GB data per day. Both recharge plans give you unlimited calling and 100 sms per day.

The ₹598 plan was earlier priced at ₹448 while the ₹698 plan came for ₹499.
What is Airtel unlimited plan?
Airtel Rs 199 unlimited pack: The cheapest of all, Airtel's Rs 199 unlimited plan offers unlimited local and STD calls, free unlimited roaming incoming and outgoing calls, 100SMS a day and 1.5GB data per day. The plan comes with a validity period of 28 days from the date of recharge. The plan earlier offered 1.4GB data but it was changed to 1.5 GB during December last year.

Airtel Rs 399 unlimited pack: The second unlimited pack Airtel offers is Rs 399 unlimited pack. It offers unlimited local and STD calls, free and unlimited roaming incoming and outgoing calls, 100SMS a day and 1GB data per day. The validity is more than Rs 199 plan. It comes with a validity period of 84 days.


Airtel Rs 448 unlimited pack: Airtel at Rs 448 offers unlimited local and STD calls, free unlimited roaming incoming and outgoing calls, 100SMS a day and 1.5GB data per day. It is valid for 82 days from the date of recharge. The plan previously came with a validity period of 70 days but the company revamped it earlier this year and increased the validity to 82 days.

-- Airtel Rs 509 unlimited pack: The plan comes with longest validity of all. Airtel Rs 509 unlimited pack offers unlimited local and STD calls, free unlimited roaming incoming and outgoing calls, 100SMS a day and 1.4 GB data per day for a validity period of 90 days. The plan earlier came with 84 days of validity.
What is Airtel lifetime validity recharge?
The company has brought back Rs 100 and Rs 500 prepaid recharge packs which were discontinued last year. Both the 'talk time' recharges offer an outgoing validity of 28 days respectively and also come with lifetime activation validity. At the moment both the plans have been launched and are available on the ' MyAirtel' app. Earlier in December last year, Airtel had introduced minimum recharge plans with limited validity. The plan wasn't received well and users migrated to other telecom operators who offered lifetime validity.
