What are the recharge plans for Vodafone?
What is the cost of Vodafone Internet pack?
Hourly plan

Vodafone's Rs 21 internet pack is the most basic and affordable plan that offers high-speed internet (3G/4G) for one hour. Once the recharge is activated, you can download unlimited data in one hour without any restriction.

1-day validity

There is one plan priced at Rs 47 which offers one-day validity and 3GB high-speed data. This plan is good for users who need set amount of data to download games or updates, for instance.

7-days validity

The weekly plans make sense when your usage isn't too much, and you don't want to spend a lot on data. There are three plans with seven-days validity. The first plan is priced at Rs 44 and offers 450MB data, the second is priced at Rs 58 and offers 600MB data, and the last one is priced at Rs 97 and gives a whopping 6GB data.

28-days validity

For those who hardly use any data, the Rs 29 plan could be perfect as it offers 500MB data and a validity of 28 days. For those with slightly heavier usage, there is Rs 49 plan that offers 1GB data. Then there is Rs 99 pack that offers 3GB data valid for 28 days.

You also have higher plans priced at Rs 297, Rs 397 and Rs 497 that offer 4GB data, 5.5GB data and 7GB data, respectively, with validity of 28 days. And then there are even plans that are priced upwards, but if paying close to Rs 500 or above, you do get plans with 1.5GB daily data. It would make more sense as you also get calling and SMS benefits in those plans, along with long validity of 70 or 84 days.
What is the minimum recharge amount for Vodafone?
Vodafone Idea is reportedly reducing the minimum recharge amount per user, which is mandatorily required to keep the SIM card alive. According to reports across the internet, the minimum recharge amount is being reduced from Rs 35 to Rs 20, as the operator continues to try and consolidate its market position, despite a rapidly decreasing user base. The minimum recharge amount for prepaid users was introduced by Vodafone Idea in order to increase its average revenue per user (ARPU), in hopes of maintaining its overall revenue and potentially reducing prices.

Interestingly, the Rs 20 minimum recharge will offer users validity of 28 days, while the previous minimum amount of Rs 35 offered users a 30-day validity period. Even with the slightly reduced validity period, Vodafone Idea's new recharge amount will lead to significantly lesser overall expenses on an annual basis. The move is slightly confusing, as until now, Vodafone Idea has been emphasising on maintaining its minimum recharge amount for users in order to reduce the load of low revenue yielding users, who in turn were believed to be reducing the network's gross revenue margins.
