Reliance Jio has updated its booster packs to more 4G data to its users. The company has reduced its total number of booster packs from five to four by eliminating the Rs 301 plan from its list. The four Jio booster packs that are now available are Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101. The company has increased the data limit for all of these four packs.
So now booster pack at Rs 11 offers 400MB data instead of 100MB. The Rs 51 pack will give 3GB of 4GB data, instead of 1GB. The Rs 101 pack gives 6GB of 4G data where it earlier offered 2GB at Rs 91. The company has also added a new booster pack at Rs 21 that offers 1GB high speed data.
Every Jio plan comes with a limited high speed data. Once this limit is reached, internet speed goes down to 64kbps. Jio booster packs can be used then to stretch the data benefit with an added cost.
Jio recently also updated its other plans and also introduced a lowest rental plan at Rs 49. It offers unlimited voice call and 1GB free 4G data for 28 days. Other plans that have been updated under Republic Day offer are Rs 149, Rs 198, Rs 349, Rs 398, Rs 399, Rs 448, Rs 449 and Rs 498. The company has basically increased all 1GB data to 1.5GB and all 1.5GB data limit to 2GB.
So, Rs 149 will get you 42GB data for 28 days, Rs 198 will give 56GB, Rs 349 will get you 105GB, Rs 398 will get you 140GB, Rs 399 will give 126GB data, Rs 448 will get you 168GB, Rs 449 offers 136.5GB and Rs 498 will give 182GB high speed data in total. The validity for each plan is different.
